About DeskWatch
DeskWatch is a project thinked and realized by
Simone Romano. It consists in something very similarity to a smartwatch.
It allows you to:
- Connect your android device by using SDW app
- Check the time, date, week day, operator status, locality (by enabling GPS on
android device), all device notification (es. whatsapp, facebbok, mail...)
- Check number and name for all incoming call
- Enable flash led (present on board) by phone app or by touch display
- Set backlight manually or by phone app
Hardware project consists into a SmartWatch realized by using:
- 2,4" tft touch display
- 1 bluetooth HC-05
- 2 Atmega 328p: first one manage display and send/receive request to 2 second one;
the seconde one manage bluetooth to receive/send bluetooth message to android phone
- lm317 regulator to convert in voltage to 3.3v
- high brightness led (flash)
- IR led
Software project consists in:
- 2 arduino sketch loaded on 2 atmega:
- 1st manage display, touch and serial connection with the other one
- 2nd manage connection with the atmega (serial communication) and with
android smartphone (bluetooth communication)
- Android app to send bluetooth message to deskwatch (hour, date, notifications...)
